Baghdad (AIN) –The two Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, and Hussien al-Shihristani, called "The Government and the Parliament to coordinate their stances and to unify their efforts to end the current crisis in the country."
A statement by Mutleg's office received by AIN cited "Mutleg received Shihristani at his office where they discussed the means of confronting the crises that hinder the political process."
"Both sides focused on the issue of the demonstrations witnessed in some of the Iraqi cities, stressing the responsibility of the Parliament in reconsidering the laws that are protested by the demonstrators," the statement continued.
"They discussed the issue of the balance in the Ministries and the institutions and agreed upon keeping on the meetings of the Balance Committee that involves the three Deputies Premier," the statement concluded.
