America and Iraq agree on reforms to develop Iraq's agriculture sector

BAGHDAD / Baghdadiya News / .. Held each of the U.S. Embassy, represented by the U.S. Agency for Petroleum Exporting International, Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture, Thursday, meetings during the period of (15 to 17 this January), aims to help Iraq develop its agricultural sector through a project coordinated support for Agricultural Development (Harvest) funded by the United States.
A statement issued by the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture, received / Baghdadiya News / copy of it, "The project will work to develop investment opportunities in the agricultural sector and raise its efficiency and the introduction of modern methods and techniques to help agricultural projects Iraqi to become Oktherantegeh and competitive."
The statement added, "attended these meetings, the Senior Vice-Ministry of Agriculture Sobhi al-Jumaili and a number of officials in the Iraqi government and representatives from the faculties of agriculture in Iraq, as well as the director of Mission of the U.S. Agency for International Development in Iraq Thomas Stal."
