Al-Maliki accused Baath and Al-Qaeda of being behind the events of Fallujah

Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces Nuri al-Maliki security officials in Anbar to exercise restraint in dealing with demonstrators.


A statement quoted the Prime Minister's Office received all Iraq [where] a copy on Friday, Al-Maliki said in a speech addressed to the Iraqi people about the events of Fallujah, to "the day of the collision with the army in Fallujah came as no surprise, we had warned him of the intentions harboured hostile goals and agendas ' of Iraq, the political process and democracy, and that risk increases, days in an attempt to blow up the security situation, and to drag the armed forces of confrontation".
