The establishment of the first center for the application of e-governance systems in Iraq

Baghdad (news) .. The Director of the General Company for the design and construction of industrial Mohammad Qasim Tawfiq create the first center of its kind in Iraq for the application of e-governance systems.
A statement by the Ministry received Agency (news) copy of it: the establishment of a center database (Data center) for the General Company for Information Systems and center is the first of its kind in Iraq, which represents a major step on the way towards the application of Systems e-governance.
The statement quoted Tawfiq saying: This center seeks to find a central base for data storage, protection and facilitate the process of access and infrastructure construction and the use of electronic applications with the latest versions of software and electronic activities.
He continued: that the project included two phases, the first is the establishment of a third floor to the building company public information systems, which includes halls and rooms with an area (400 m 2) and the second phase includes the removal of all cutouts on the ground floor depth (80 cm 2) and area (100 m 2) of the place has been allocated to set up the necessary equipment for this Center, which started work in its installation, as well as completion of other works to maintain the confidentiality of the information stored. / end / d.
