KDP: Baghdad problems include everyone and must be another strategy to Article 140

Twilight News / Spokesman Kurdistan Democratic Party led by Massoud Barzani, Tuesday, that the outstanding problems between Baghdad and Kurdistan include all the Kurds, stressing the need for the application of Article 140 to end the disputes over the disputed areas.
Jaafar Ibrahim explained in a speech on the sidelines of a seminar held by the Higher Committee for Constitutional Article 140 of the Kurdistan Regional Government to "present problems and the relationship between Baghdad and Erbil are not personal .. but they are all problems of the people of Kurdistan."
The symposium was held today under the theme "Towards a strategy other Kurdish areas outside the Department of the Kurdistan Region," and was attended by the Chairman of the Committee Mohammed Ihsan, and a number of members of the Kurdistan Parliament, as well as politicians, intellectuals, and held extensive discussions on the subject.
Ibrahim added, "We are determined to tackle the current problems of Iraq within the framework of the permanent Iraqi constitution is necessary to find a new strategy and an appropriate mechanism to activate the Constitutional Article 140."
He also pointed out that "the constitutional article 140 must be applied across the stages prescribed by the Constitution to conduct a census and a referendum to decide the residents of these areas their own destiny to remain with the federal government in Baghdad or to join the Kurdistan Regional Government."
