Defense: We identified al-Qaeda representatives in the demonstrations

Shafaq News / Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that it has identified the "terrorist" elements of al-Qaeda after the emergence of some in the media and acknowledging that publicly in front of demonstrators in Ramadi city of being representatives of that organization, whole urged the tribal leaders and those responsible for the demonstrations to prevent the infiltration of these elements.
The statement of the Ministry of Defense reported for "Shafaq News", that "the Operations Command of Anbar took security precautions to protect the demonstrations last night to prevent the flow of other elements of this organization to the demonstrations Square.”
"These measures also come to prevent the flow of weapons and explosives, as security forces still operate in securing national protection for the demonstrators."
He explained that "the communication and coordination with a number of sheikhs and dignitaries of the organizers of the demonstrations have confirmed the flow of a terrorist group of al-Qaeda to the demonstrations Square and as we reserve mentioning their names for fear of being targeted and we have full recordings, evidences and facts."
The statement “called on citizens to stay away from places of tension and the presence of Al-Qaeda fear for the lives of innocent people, and warn those who exploit demonstrations and supports terrorist elements that we will take strict legal proceedings against them and will not relent to preserve the security and safety of citizens."
The Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee on following up the demands of the demonstrators, Hussain al-Shahristani said earlier that there are a number of al-Qaeda elements among the demonstrators in Anbar.
But the MP of al- Iraqiya List, Nahida al-Daini said that MPs of the list take the platforms of Anbar demonstrations, denying the existence of al-Qaeda among the demonstrators in Iraq.
