CoM instructs to implement Italy investment convention

Baghdad (AIN) –The Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers instructed the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to implement the resolution of the Cabinet regarding the convention of encouraging and protecting the investments between Iraq and Italy.
The Secretariat General reported in statement received by AIN "The resolution of the Cabinet, which was issued at the session hold on 12/3/2013, stipulates to authorize the Acting Chairman of the National Investment Commission, Sami Rauf al-Araji, the authority to negotiate and sign the convention project of encouraging and protecting the investment with the Republic of Italy in accordance with the article (80/6) of the constitution.''
"The Secretariat General of the Cabinet tasked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to prepare the required document on behalf of Iraq for the Acting Chairman of the Iraqi National Investment Commission to submit it for the Secretariat and obtain the signing from the Speaker of the Cabinet,'' the statement added.
