Transport: the development of the Executive Secretariat of Transport and Trade Facilitation

The Ministry of Transport announced for the development of the Executive Secretariat of the National Committee to facilitate transport and trade in the ESCWA region within formations ministry center for the purpose of managing the work of the National Committee and to prepare for meetings.
A statement by the Ministry of Transportation Agency has received all of Iraq [where] a copy of it today, that "facilitate transport and trade of the most important elements of economic advancement has been formed the National Committee for transport and trade facilitation, headed by the Minister of Transport and the membership of some other ministries and private sector bodies concerned and be linked to the Prime Minister and the Based on the recommendations of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia ESCWA Organization of the United Nations. "
He added that "the Commission is studying choke points in the implementation of transport coefficients and international trade at the level of the Republic of Iraq and identify the causes of choking and give effective solutions and make recommendations to the government regarding future investments for the development of transport and trade."
He added that "among the tasks of the Commission proposal drafts laws or regulations for the purposes of government approval dealing facilitate all procedures related to transport and trade, and promote national competitiveness to boost exports and simplification and harmonization of procedures and processes and administrative reform, legal and computing procedures supporting information and communication technology and reducing the cost and time and enhance security."
And Asharalbaan that "among the tasks of the Commission to take all means to the facility through a series of providing transport services and the exchange of documents relating to international trade and the application of international standards, streamlining procedures and removing barriers to trade between countries in order to increase trade and tourism, and thus speed up the achievement of regional integration between these countries ". ended
