Health Minister denies reports of returning to attend cabinet sessions

Baghdad (NINA) – Minister of Health, Majeed Hamad Ameen, denied reports that he is back attending cabinet's meetings.
A statement issued on Thursday, Apr. 4, by the Ministry of Health's Media Bureau, quoted Ameen saying that he hopes problems between the Center and Kurdistan Region be solved, to enable Kurdish lawmakers and ministers resume the duties.
He pointed out that talks underway between Central and Regional governments to overcome disagreements, that would put an end to the boycott of Kurdish lawmakers and ministers to return to the Federal Government.
Kurdish lawmakers and ministers are boycotting Parliament and Cabinet session, after the Federal Budget enacted in the absence of Kurdish lawmakers; since then they left Baghdad to Kurdistan Region. / End.
