UN experts appreciate Iraq's efforts to combat corruption

Baghdad (AIN) -Two UN experts at anti-corruption field expressed their high appreciation to Iraq's sincere efforts in carrying out all its obligations stated in the UN Convention for Anti-Corruption.
A statement by the Iraqi Integrity Commission reported on Wednesday " Jason Rajkr, the director of the Social Justice & Crime Combat Department within the UN Anti-Corruption Office along with the expert Jonathan Eger, stressed that "Iraq achieved great progress towards putting the International Convention into effect."
Rajkr said at the conclusion of the workshop organized by the UN and the Integrity Commission at the Iraqi Academy for combating corruption over the international cooperation to recover the criminals and smuggled funds " Iraq is at the forefront of the leading and advanced countries in terms of applying the International Convention." /End/
