Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to develop a single strategy for all of Iraq in the field of population growth, dealing with SURGE of the population that Iraq is among the countries most population growth in the world.
statement of the Information Office of the prime minister said Wednesday that Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki gave a speech during the chaired on Wednesday the first meeting of the Supreme Council of the population in Iraq, which he said that "the formation of this Council is a step on the road to building scientific state which is based on statistics and strategies."
and called on the prime minister to "develop a strategy and one for each of Iraq's population growth, dealing with SURGE of the population that Iraq is among the countries most population growth in the world, "noting that" population policy associated with the overall strategies of the state in other areas. "
He emphasized the "need to focus on the factors affecting the population policy and those related to the organization of media campaigns on women and child health and education and others. "
