Shafaq News / An MP close to Iraqi Prime Minister (PM) , Nuri al-Maliki said that the latter is enjoying a very good health , denying that he suffered a stroke and was taken outside the country.
Speculation increased about the health of Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki after being unable to participate in a memorial service hosted by the Supreme Council, where the mc of the ceremonies said that al-Maliki is having a health problem.
“I met al-Maliki, a day before the celebration of the Supreme Council for three hours and he was in a good health, MP Ihsan al-Awadi told “Shafaq News”.
Local press reports said that al-Maliki suffered from a stroke in the brain and was taken outside the country.
Awadi said sarcastically that al-Maliki is in Baghdad.
Maliki had previously had a surgery in 2010, according to a government statement at the time, but no one knew its nature.
