Revealed an official source in the province of Dhi Qar for the Iraqi Central Bank to impose a financial charge on the movement of money between him and Iraqi banks, which would be reflected negatively on the customers of those banks.
The source, who declined to be identified said the network news Nasiriyah that the Iraqi Central Bank decided to meet the specific commission on cash withdrawals and bank branches to their deposits up to 1.2 million dinars for each of five billion Iraqi dinars.
And that the commission will have branches of banks to meet the compensatory payments from its customers to cover the huge deficit caused by the withdrawal of the commission, explaining that that it would hurt the banking sector in the country.
He pointed out that bank branches are forced to deposit its funds in central bank reserves and not more than 25% of the deposits in the branches, pointing out that all funds deposited will be subject to the imposition of fees by the CBE.
As the commission that those that have not worked before, so will negatively affect the incentives for the staff of bank branches, particularly that the bank will bear the commission fees as well as transfer payments and the accompanying security protection.
