Baghdad (AIN) -Member of the Economy & Investment Committee, MP Abdul Salam al-Maliki stressed the necessity to endorse The Economic Reform Establishment law
to draw the economic policies of the country and set plans to develop the different vital sectors.
MP Maliki said "The currently adopted economic policy is unclear," noting "There is a sort of fuzziness in the economic policy management where it is not known whether it is run by the Finance Ministry, the Planning Ministry or the parliament Economic Committee."
He called to establish "private council for economic reform to be devoted for drawing the economic policy and supporting the investment and address all the imbalances the Iraqi economy suffers from currently."
