NCRI - Ayad Allawi, al-Iraqiya party leader, said: Iranian regime supported Maliki to become prime minister. Maliki has forgotten that he has not yet disclosed the ministers of defence, interior, and national security as well as Intelligence director, Alsumaria news site reported on August 4.
According to alsumaria news, on Thursday, al-Iraqiya leader accused Maliki of relying on a foreign (country) for running security ministries, and said international society is responsible for protecting Iraq against Iranian regime's intervention in Iraq, and for restoring the political balance.
Ayad Allawi said: the current situation in Iraq is known as return to sectarian policies along with foreign intervention by some neighbouring countries. He described the situation as a coup against constitution. Allawi added: because of Iranian regime's stance against al-Iraqiya, and the U.S. agreement with Iran's stance, which comes out of the U.S. domestic situation and policies in the middle east, we had no choice but to accede to Maliki as prime minister.
