Economic parliamentary: the security situation in Iraq is not conducive to carry out investment projects

Najib said the "nation-building needs and investment projects in Iraq from countries where investment opportunities are high, because more sectors need to rebuild infrastructure."
She pointed out that "the investor retreat after being briefed on the deteriorating security situation in Iraq," indicating that "Capital invests in areas where safety and does not invest in countries that are not stable."
She said in a statement to associate all of Iraq (where), that "the investment side need to come together by the government and Parliament to promote it, as well as legislation encourages the investor to work in Iraq."
The economists have warned that the continued deterioration of the security to the injury of the economy paralyzed and declining investment, as expressed dealers and retailers, in Baghdad for fear of the impact of security implications on the economic situation, high food prices and the consumer is reflected negatively on the citizens.
