Anbar/Obelisk: Anbar security officials said Friday that the security force arrested the Finance Minister in the so-called Islamic State of Iraq in the Western Anbar region.
The source said "the Obelisk", "power of command and operations desert arrested today on the Minister of Finance of the so-called Islamic State of Iraq, an area in Anbar province on the border with Syria."
The source, who demanded anonymity, said "the arrest of the terrorist's LOB for committing many crimes, after he crossed the border into Iraq with false documents", adding that "security forces" arrested one of the security posts near the heavily guarded ".
A security source in the Anbar police said, (7 August 2013), that the security forces arrested three prominent elements of the Organization of the so-called Islamic State of Iraq security campaign focused on different areas of a modern Western Anbar.
Security forces al implemented many campaigns in the Western desert of Anbar, and managed to kill and capture many elements of armed groups.
And Al-Anbar province, 110 km west of Baghdad, attacks against police and army forces and civilians alike, with security forces trying to strengthen its control over the regions of the province following the arrest of a number of armed elements
