Trade with Iran hits $4bn

Baghdad, August 10 (AKews) - The volume of trade with Iran, discounting oil activities, hit $4 billion this year so far, the Iraqi Trade Ministry said Wednesday.
Director General of Foreign Economic Relations at the ministry Hashem Hatem told AKnews that the Ministry is seeking to enhance the economic relations between the two countries and raise the level of commercial exchange between the two countries during this year.
"The Trade Ministry started the preparation of final reports about the exact numbers on trade between Iraq and regional countries, with which it has extensive commercial dealings."
