Security forces took tight security along the border with Syria in anticipation of possible U.S. strike against Syrian territory and to ensure that there were no cases of infiltration of armed groups into Iraqi territory.
A source in the forces within the province of Anbar in a press statement that the border forces backed by troops army has taken strong measures along the border with Syria after the announcement of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces alert maximum across the country for fear of a possible strike by the United States and some countries of Syria and take caution of the repercussions of such a strike.
