Governor of Baghdad calls on Swedish firms to invest in Baghdad

Baghdad (NINA) – The Governor of Baghdad, Ali Temimi, called on Swedish firms to invest in Baghdad.
A statement issued by the Governor's office on Friday, Oct. 5, said that Governor rTemimi received Sweden's Ambassador to Iraq, Yorken Leenstrum. In the meeting the Governor welcomed Swedish firms' participation in the construction of Baghdad.
He invited Sweden to take part in the Security Conference organized next month by the Governorate with the participation of international firms to search for solutions to Security in Baghdad.
For his part, Ambassador Leenstrum expressed the readiness of his country's companies, specialized in security, health, services and communication, to participate in the reconstruction of Baghdad. / End
