Baghdad Monorail first phase designs to be accomplished soon
Baghdad (Forat) – The first phase of Baghdad's monotrail project designs, will be completed by the end of 2013, Ali Mohsen al-Tamimi, governor of Baghdad announced on Saturday.
A statement of Baghdad provincial council received by Alforat News Agency quoted on Tamimi saying in meeting with French company Alstom "We have seen the designs prepared by the company on Baghdad's Hanging Train , and this is the third meeting with the company on this regard ."
"The designs of the first phase of the project will be completed by this yearend", Tamimi assured
"Baghdad province is doing its best efforts to speed up the completing all the project details, in order, to announce completing implemented the project during the next three years ".
"Baghdad monorail project will transfer the citizens as well as state officials, as it will contribution to reduce the traffic jam", Tamimi concluded./End/
