SULAIMANI, Kurdistan Region: Sulaimani Governorate will form a committee to set up 100 Surveillance Cameras in the public places, including government department buildings.
Soran Ghafur, head of the mutual committees of Sulaimani district office told PUKmedia, "Sulaimani governorate formed a special committee to inform the buildings and public governmental places for setting up Surveillance Cameras."
Ghafur said that up to today, 100 places have been informed.
"The decision is for the sake of Sulaimani's security in case of any unprecedented incident in the future," Ghafur said as he was explaining the purpose and the need of having the cameras set up around the city.
