Erbil {Forat} -The Iraqi official authorities found 44 artifact pieces inside a house in Erbil.
Director General of Relics in Kurdistan Region, Abu Bakir Othman, said in a press conference attended by Alforat reporter "The artifacts were discovered by chance when a history teacher was delivering a lesson about the relics and the artifacts, then one of the pupils told him that such pieces are displayed in their house for decoration but without realizing their importance."
"The 44 artifacts were put in the National Museum," said Othman.
"These relics have major historical significance dating back to the Assyrian era and onwards," the Director General assured. /End/
