Baghdad (Forat) –The Deputy Premier for the Energy Affairs, Hussein al-Shihristani and the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq discussed the bilateral relations.
A statement by Shihristani's office received by Alforat News Agency (Forat) cited "Shihristani met with the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq, Ghassan al-Zawawi, where they discussed the mutual relations."
"Shihristani assured that the Iraqi government aims at settling the obstacles that hinder the promotion of the mutual relations," the statement added.
"Zawawi expressed the interest of Kuwait to import the Iraqi gas in the future," the statement concluded. /End/
