Iraqi Finance Minister, Safaa net debt, settling his debt with IMF Vice President naoioki Shinohara, part of a series of spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank held in Washington.
The Bureau said the net that the meeting attended by the Iraqi Central Bank Governor Abdul Basit Turki, discussed ways to develop relations of Iraq with the International Monetary Fund, monetary and financial areas.
Shinohara said the IMF was ready to provide support and technical assistance to Iraq in the areas of improving financial management and capacity-building, leading to improved financial performance in Iraq.
