The statement said that the income will be treated as part of the region's share of the national budget of Iraq and Baghdad, which booked a part of it since the beginning of the year in response to the efforts of the Kurds to export oil independently.
The territory's government said it is still willing to negotiate with Baghdad and will comply with the obligations imposed by the United Nations to develop five percent of the revenue in a separate account to compensate for Iraq's invasion of Kuwait in 1990.
