French Christian religious delegation visit Kirkuk in solidarity with Christians and oppressed people in Iraq

Kirkuk / Nina /--A religious high-level French delegation visited Kirkuk city to express solidarity and support for Christians and persecuted people in Iraq in particular the people of Mosul, accompanied by the Patriarch of Chaldean in Iraq and the world Raphael 1st Louis Sako.
The delegation headed by Lyon Cardinal Philippe Barbran , where he visited the Church of the Sacred Heart in the presence of head of the provincial council in Kirkuk, Hassan Turan and a gathering of Christians of Kirkuk, families fled from Nineveh to Kirkuk as well.
Patriarch Sako said : " We as a church, against the exodus of Christians from Iraq but who want immigration is free, adding : “ we are confident that the difficult conditions will end and called for a real political solution and form a government of national unity and genuine reconciliation, otherwise he added ,there will be a great danger that could lead to sectarian conflicts which represents a disaster for Iraqis.
For his part, Cardinal of Lyon said " The Christians in this crisis, did not deny their religion or their faith despite being kicked out of their homes, their towns and raped their property.
