The prime minister presided over Haider al-Abadi, on Thursday, the supreme body for coordination between the governorates not organized province meeting, the importance of the success of the provincial labor and building healthy relationships with the federal government to achieve the supreme interest of the country. Prime Minister's media office said in a statement today that the Abadi discussed with the governors and heads of provincial deputy ministers and security cooperation issues between the provinces and the affairs of displaced persons and expand the powers of the provinces, according to Law No. 21 of 2008, as amended. The statement added, 'that Abadi said in his speech at the opening session' The purpose of this meeting is a success of the provinces and the work of building healthy relationships with the federal government to achieve the supreme interest of the country and the provision of services and infrastructure development. '
He urged the Prime Minister on the need for attention to the field of public services to citizens, despite the circumstances facing the country and said that we are fighting a real war against terrorism, but it should not prevent us from providing services to citizens and to support farmers and encourage investment and get the economy moving, stressing that priority spending will be for projects that stimulate the economy and provide employment opportunities .
Abadi and pointed out the cause of the current financial problem is to increase consumer spending and other reasons related to the fall in oil revenues and low prices afterthought that we have a great opportunity to improve through increased imports and production agreement on the issue of the Kurdistan region's oil.
And around the area of security Abadi said 'The priority is to support the armed forces and the resolution of the war against terrorism and to achieve victory and said that we aspire to remove the army from cities and delivery of the Security Ministry of the Interior and the Federal Police to be the foundation in the future to maintain security, stressing the need for the establishment of a sophisticated local security system to the provinces able to extend security and stability and the fight against organized crime.
