Ban welcomes solving the dispute over the budget between Iraq and the Kurdistan region
Congratulated the Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon here Thursday both Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Barzani after that eternally willingness to negotiate and reach agreements in the interest of the Iraqi people. Welcomed Ban Ki-moon said in a statement that the agreement reached between the governments of Iraq and the Kurdistan region, which aims to solve the issues related to the general budget and oil exports. He called on the federal authorities in Baghdad and Erbil in regional to build on this important first step to resolve all outstanding issues in the framework of the Iraqi constitution. He stressed that the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) ready within its mandate to continue to support this process.
