Biden welcomes oil deal between Baghdad and Erbil, confirms: support the development pipeline from Basra to the Mediterranean

Welcomed US Vice President Joseph Biden last Saturday by agreement between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government in Iraq's oil exports managed jointly.
Biden said at the top of the Atlantic Council in the city of Istanbul in Turkey, "The United States welcomes the agreement between Baghdad and Erbil on oil exports management."
Biden added that "Washington also supports the development of an oil pipeline from the Iraqi city of Basra to the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean seafront."
