Signs Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations Development Programme to support the Iraqi government

Tomorrow Press / Baghdad: General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced on Thursday the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations Development Program in Baghdad, to support the Iraqi government in its efforts to achieve a four-year plan for the development program. The Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Hamid Ahmed in a statement received by "tomorrow Press" , "The general framework of the Government's program of development determines the 2014 to 2018 strategic priorities for all executive bodies in Iraq," noting that "the United Nations Development Programme will provide the necessary technical support to the Secretariat and its human resources to achieve their desired objectives." According to the statement, through the Secretary-General during signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations Development Programme, for "Estimating the Iraqi government in the construction of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers capabilities, Aakeda hope to harness it to put the government's development program in place." For his part, take the country director for the United Nations Development Programme, Adam Abdel Mawla, that "the signing of the MOU is the result of years of fruitful cooperation," stressing that "the Iraqi government's support in the implementation of the development program and the modernization of the public sector is one of the first the priorities of the future of the United Nations Development Programme." He added that "the United Nations Development Programme will provide the necessary support to the government Iraq to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the government's development program over the next four years. " He explained Abdel Mawla that "the United Nations Development Programme held partnerships with various peoples and all levels of society in order to enhance their ability to respond to crises and adapt to them, and pay and maintains the growth in order to improve the quality of life for all." He noted, "We are located in more than 170 countries and territories, and we are working to provide a global perspective and local insight to enable the peoples and nation-building."
