Zebari: reviewing the budget in 2015 with the ministries to reduce the deficit
The Minister of Finance in the federal government, Hoshyar Zebari, on Friday, 12/02/2014, about the intention of the ministry reduce the general budget for 2015 to 120 trillion, and explained that the ministry is serious about reducing the budget deficit to 30 trillion dinars through a review of its provisions with the Ministries of State, and search from internal sources to reduce the deficit rather than foreign borrowing, while stressing adherence to the ministry at a price of $ 70 a barrel in the general budget, confirmed the existence of the desire of the federal government to normalize relations with the Kurdistan Region. Zebari said in an interview with the long-Presse: "The special study of the budget committee on a daily basis to hold meetings and technical meetings with each ministry and the body in the state in order to reduce the fiscal deficit existing budget," pointing out that "the Committee engaged in a debate now with six to seven ministries in order to review their budgets in order to provide the budget end of this year to the parliament. He guessed Zebari "provide general budget soon to the Council of Ministers and then submitted to the House of Representatives for approval at the beginning of next year.

Zebari said: "The general budget for 2015 by the size of the reduction is 155 trillion dinars, and we want to be reduced to 120 trillion dinars," he said, adding that "the reduction will focus on the part of the investment budget and some of the projects and some other things.
And the Minister of Finance: "There is debate about the calculation of the price of a barrel of oil in the budget between 60 to $ 70," following up "We are committed to a price of $ 70 a barrel for the expected increase in oil prices because of the winter."
And the 2014 budget year, Zebari stressed that "this budget does not exist and will provide a financial statement that comes to us after the final accounts for the end of this year, which will show disbursements and expenses and how they spent and what aspects of exchange.
And on the recent agreement between Baghdad and Erbil to solve the problem of oil exports, between Zebari said: "The agreement represents a framework to solve problems on the budget and the export of oil and accruals Peshmerga fighting terrorism as part of the security system," he said, adding it was "the first time that the commitment of the federal government happens supported by dues and salaries of the Peshmerga.
He Zebari: that "the two sides sit down to be all things financial settlement between the parties the federal government and the region," stressing "the political will of the new government to implement the relations with the Kurdistan Region.
