Pentagon approves sending 1,300 soldiers to Iraq next month

Twilight news announced the u.s. Department of Defense (the Pentagon) to outgoing Defense Minister Chuck Hegel, approved the sending of US troops to Iraq next month.
Spokesman (the Pentagon) John Kirby in the daily press summary from Washington that such a force is the first instalment of 1,500 troops that President Barack Obama has promised to dispatch to Iraq last November.
Kirby noted that the task force will "train and assist Iraqi security forces."
Presumably, the forces are distributed on 4 sites to train Iraqi forces and Peshmerga.
