The delegation of Iraq and Kuwait hold official talks about the prospects of cooperation and issues of the region
The Iraqi delegation was held under the chairmanship of Prime Aloza Haider Abadi with his Kuwaiti counterpart, headed by Kuwaiti Prime Minister Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah held official talks at Bayan Palace in Kuwait.
Reports indicated that "the talks were held in a friendly atmosphere and reflected the depth of brotherly relations between the two countries and discussed the prospects of cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries, as well as the positions of the two countries towards the common interest of regional and international issues."
The talks were attended on the Iraqi side, Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari and Defence Minister Khaled al-Obeidi and Transport Minister Bayan Jabr, Minister of Industry and Minerals Naseer al-Issawi and Minister of Displacement and Migration Jassim Mohammed, Minister of Human Rights, Mohammed Mahdi al-Bayati and Iraq's ambassador to Kuwait Mohammed Hussein Bahr al-Ulum.
With attended the meeting on the Kuwaiti side, First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad and Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Khaled Jarrah Al-Sabah and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce and Industry Abdul Mohsen Mdj Madj and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Mohammed Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah and the head of the honorary mission accompanying Chancellor Diwan His Highness the Prime Minister Salem Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Khalid Sulaiman Al-Jarallah and Undersecretary Office of the Prime Minister Khalid Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the adoption of a number of senior officials at the Diwan of the Prime Minister of Kuwait and the State Department.
