• What are the mechanisms that could be followed by the government to promote self-financing companies?
Improve the rate of self-financing companies is by stimulating industrial management systems in government institutions, and administrative restructuring and re-marketing system for their end product.
• Can the local industries compete with foreign product (in terms of quality and price)?
It is possible for local industries compete with foreign imported product through government support programs in the import and export, and the provision of raw materials and intermediate goods or bear part of their price and to develop methods of cash payment of the costs of the production processes.
• What is the reason for the decline of local industries? Will the government has a clear strategy or plans studied in the field of self-financing?
The reasons behind the decline of industry due to the lack of state support measures, and the freedom of import unconditional 100%, in addition to the absence of economic vision for the Iraqi successive governments, as well as a decline in energy and funding for the laboratories of the files.
