Deputy for the National calls for the establishment of a sovereign fund to deposit surplus budgets
MP for the Iraqi National Alliance, Abdul Hussein al-Moussawi, the establishment of a fund for the deposit of the financial budget surpluses and investing in crisis, called on the government to clarify the fate of surplus budgets [2012-2013].
Moussawi said in a statement received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it today, that "the creation of a sovereign fund on deposit surpluses financial budgets that all the previous budgets begin problematic fiscal deficit and ending financial surpluses phenomenon, we need to stand on the causes of the constant repetition."
He added: "This fund will help the sovereign government in the face of crises and critical circumstances", asking the government to the federal government to "provide the requested clarifications about the fate of the financial surpluses of the budgets of the years 2012 and 2013 that exceeded twenty billion dollars also showed some sources."
The House of Representatives did at its special session, which was held last Thursday, the first reading of the draft budget law and forwarded to the Finance Committee before its lift to the seventh of next month.
