Defense Minister heads to Iran on an official visit

Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi, went to Iran on Monday for an official visit.
According to a ministry statement received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of the "al-Obeidi flew to Iran at the invitation he received from his Iranian counterpart Hossein Dehghan to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and ways especially with regard to the aspect of security and the fight against terrorist groups developed. It is scheduled to hold the Iraqi defense minister during the visit of meetings and talks with his Iranian counterpart and senior officials of the country, looking through them bilateral, regional and international issues of common interest. Among the objectives of the visit of the Iraqi defense minister to Iran to develop defense and military cooperation as well as discuss ways to fight terrorism. The head of the Islamic Shura Council Ali Larijani said at the conclusion of his visit to Iraq last week that "the Iraqi forces are capable of defeating terrorism wherever it is found, and do not require training and qualification of any state," he said, adding that "the Iraqi military forces have leaders can train Qtatha without hiring of any state. " Larijani stressed that his country "is ready to help Iraq and support in its fight against terrorism in all aspects of logistics and military" .anthy
