BAGHDAD / Obelisk: MP confirmed for a coalition of state law, high Nassif, on Tuesday, the oil and gas law in a way to acknowledge and vote on it after the political consensus and the formation of the Supreme Council of oil wealth, as pointed out that a number of agreements and consensus took place within the political blocs to pass the law. Nassif said in a statement seen by "obelisk", that "there are no problems in the oil and gas law, but that the real Almarqlat not passed is a political Marqlat," asserting that "the political will heading to the enactment of this Act." She added that "a number of agreements and consensus took place within the political blocs and there is a debate within the coalition of state law to put a unified political vision for this law, in addition to moving forward the formation of the Supreme Council of oil wealth, which includes representatives from the Council of the provinces and the provincial government to participate in the oil-making and distribution of wealth-making." She said, "This representation ensures equitable distribution of oil wealth, based on Article 111 of the Constitution, which states that oil and gas is the property of the Iraqi people."
