Iraq needs ‘tribal revolution’ against ISIS, says Iraqi PM

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi has called for a “tribal revolution” against the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, (also known as ISIS or ISIL).
During his meeting with Suhaib al-Rawi, the new appointed governor of al-Anbar province, Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi asserted that Iraq needs a tribal revolution to rid the body of its society of the foreign enemy, pointing out to the importance of the tribes of the provinces in liberating their areas from the terrorist groups.
