Judicial sources said the Al-rasafa appeals court that the Central Bank filed a formal appeal, the acquittal of the former Central Bank Governor Sinan Al-Shabibi recently, demanding abolition of the resolution for its lack of legal grounds, including the introduction of witness testimony, which confirmed "his neglectful» Shabibi issued special instructions on banking policy caused considerable waste of public money, the source said.
And a source close to Al-Maliki's National Alliance, the Governor of the Central Bank agency, Ali al-allaq, the filing of an appeal the acquittal issued by former Bank Governor, Sinan Al-Shabibi, because his innocence means an explicit accusation of Al-Maliki and his Government of being involved in malicious trumped him.
The Al-Maliki made days before the end of his mandate in assigning a relationship which was highlighted by his aides, the Governor of the Central Bank in a series of appointments to his followers in the Government of sensitive centres to ensure the preservation of its influence and its ability to move his followers to thwart reform, Haidar Al-Abadi Government troop movements.
