The Vice-President Tareq al-Hashemi told a news conference after the meeting, attended by news agency Kurdistan (Rn) that "the leaders of the Iraqi List, agreed at their meeting today to send a letter to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, demanding the implementation of what has been agreed upon within the Initiative Massoud Barzani."
Hashimi said that "the demands include the four paragraphs is to stop security breaches and implementation of national partnership truth, and to approve the candidate for the office of the Iraqi Ministry of Defense, and providing candidates and the Ministry of the Interior, and the enactment of the National Council for Strategic Policy."
The Iraqi List, had earlier threatened that it would take a firm decision in case no agreement is reached on the points of contention with the National Alliance in a meeting today.
