Al-Hakim and al-Adeeb candidates to take over the presidency of the National Alliance
Tomorrow Press / Baghdad confirmed the deputy state law Ibtisam al-Hilali, Wednesday, that the head of the Islamic Supreme Council Ammar al-Hakim and MP Ali al-Adeeb, head of the state law, the two candidates to take over the presidency of the National Alliance.
She said Hilali for "tomorrow Press" that "negotiations are still going on within the National Alliance to agree on a specific character to be president of the Alliance for the next period," noting that "the coalition will choose the name of the candidates are Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Supreme Islamic Council, Ali al-Adeeb, the head of state law."
And suggested Hilali, "resolve the issue of the presidency of the National Alliance after the completion of the approval of the draft federal budget bill in the House of Representatives."
It added that "the coalition has a strong will to resolve the issue of the presidency of the Alliance in the next month in order to continue to hold periodic meetings to discuss the current situation."
The National Alliance embraces many of the parties and political forces and blocs, including the rule of law, and the Badr Organization, and the Sadrists, and the Supreme Council.
