Iraq’s Permanent Representative in New York meets Iraq’s IOM Chief over displaced citizens

Baghdad (AIN) -Permanent Representative of Iraq to the United Nations, Mr. Mohammed Ali al Hakim met President of the UN Security Council for the current month.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by All Iraq News Agency cited “During the meeting, they explained the developments in Iraq and Iraq’s efforts in the fight against terrorism.”
“Mr. al Hakim also met Chief of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission in Iraq, Mr. Thomas Weiss and discussed with him aspects of cooperation between the organization and the Iraqi government in providing emergency aids for the displaced people especially in winter,” the statement concluded.
