Russia plans to increase its investment in Iraq

0il.jpgShafaq News / The Russian President Vladimir Putin's envoy to the Middle East , Mikhail Bogdanov said that his country plans to increase its investments in Iraq.
This came during a meeting on Monday evening with Iraqi Minister of Oil , Adel Abdul Mahdi in Baghdad, according to what a statement of the Ministry of Oil stated for "Shafaq News".
The two sides discussed issues of common interest between the two countries, especially in economic and energy fields and ways to develop them.
The Iraqi Minister of Oil confirmed Iraq’s desire to promote friendly relations with Russia and expand the volume of cooperation and investment in the oil and energy field.
For his part, Bogdanov renewed the depth of historical relations between the two countries, stressing his country's support and assistance to Iraq
