Oil Minister meets with the Emir of Kuwait

Met with Oil Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, on the sidelines of his visit to Kuwait Emir of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Received the Emir of Kuwait afternoon Abdul-Mahdi, at Bayan Palace on the occasion of his visit to the country, and the meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Kuwaiti Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah.
The Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, arrived on Tuesday, to Kuwait to attend a conference of energy as well as energy ministers Arabs, to discuss the drop in oil prices in the global markets and discuss joint action mechanisms to prevent further decline.
Said Abdul-Mahdi, today at the conference, said that "the decline in oil prices will reflect negatively on the country producing and consuming economy," adding that "oil prices now reached the bottom," noting that "it is difficult to record a further drop."
He favored the Iraqi oil minister that "oil prices are up and down with a tendency to rise in the coming months", adding that "the low prices will reflect negatively on important economic sectors in the producing and consuming countries, and it will be a major blow for investments in alternative energy sectors and renewable" .anthy
