The leader of the Supreme Council Fadi al-Shammari, revealed that the federal government has the funds in the custody of the Kurdistan region, a vast sums obtained by the export of oil from the region without the approval of Baghdad. Al-Shammari said in a statement reported for ((eighth day)) that "this file will be discussed with the other files in the forefront of the settlement of the previous budgets and revenue Airlines and border crossings across the second round of talks will be launched immediately after the adoption of the budget in order to reach a permanent solution that satisfies all parties, particularly and that the debt owed by the Kurdistan region and the reality of the latter can not be denied. He added that "oil's need to enter a legislative address the issue of the distribution of the proceeds among the provinces and territories and is the enactment of the oil and gas law, and there is also a need for a decision of the Federal Supreme Court handles defect constitutional text which speaks about the ownership of the existing oil wells or that you will discover in the future."
