Zebari confirms the government's keenness to provide financial guarantees for the work of foreign companies in Iraq

Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari said on Wednesday the government's keenness to secure financial guarantees for the work of foreign companies in Iraq.
The confirmation came during a meeting with Zebari Hans Naikamb head of Shell in Iraq, Vice President of Global Shell Oil.
According to a ministry statement received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of which was "The meeting discussed the company's operations in the Majnoon and West Qurna / 1 fields and the draft South Gas, as well as the oil company operating benefits and the government's keenness to secure the obligations Financial guarantees required for the proper performance of its companies."
Zebari also met Aziz Koleilat and CEO of General Electric Company President [GE] and the Director of Marketing and Director of Business Development and Chief Financial Officer of the company.
The two sides discussed according to a statement the Ministry of Finance, "the company's projects and activities in the country in the energy, electricity and health sectors."
