Governor of the Central Bank receives 165 million dinars as the end of his service

Said a source familiar with the Central Bank of Iraq that the former province Abdul Basit Turki received an amount of 165 million dinars (about $ 130 thousand), as a reward the end of the service, despite the fact that his appointment came across a violation of the law, pointing out that his retirement from the presidency of the BSA earned him 250 million dinars in the form of accumulated leave.
The source said in an interview with Lord's ((eighth day)), that "Abdul Basit Turki, who combined the two, as the head of the Office of Finance and the Governor of the Central Bank of agency oversight, he got on the end of service benefits after his removal from the Central Bank 0.165 million dinars," pointing out that "this is in addition to being a significant amount of service months, but it is illegal, under the legal confusion that accompanied the appointment process."
The Council of Ministers approved in September last September 2, to refer Abdul Basit Turki Chairman BSA to retire to the end of his mandate by law, and to assign tasks Ismail Ali Mohsen Governor of the Central Bank and the agency.
