Liberal parliamentary bloc announced submit a request to the President Fuad Masum, upping with 88 signatures of MPs from various political blocs, to prepare a draft draft law to determine the state of the Prime Minister, as in other presidencies.
A spokesman for the Liberal bloc MP Hussein al-Awadi, at a press conference today: "The Liberal bloc made a formal request to the President Fuad Masum, in order to prepare a draft law to determine the mandate of the Prime Minister to two terms."
He pointed out that "there to pass this law in the House of Representatives a political agreement among all the political blocs, in line with the Constitution."
He said: "It is necessary to work on the devolution of power between the political blocs and joint parties in the political process with a view to a peaceful transfer of power and linking institutions of constitutional and legal status to achieve democracy," adding that the demand was upping the signatures of 88 deputies to prepare a draft of the mandate of the three presidencies and they represent various blocs Parliamentary.
