Abadi chairs the National Security Council session to discuss security developments

Chaired by the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, the National Security Council meeting, where he discussed security developments and measures taken to strengthen the rule of law and security.
Ebadi said in a statement received by the Office for News Agency (et) a copy of it, "The Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces chaired Haider Abadi, the third regular session of the National Security Council."
He added, "The meeting discussed security developments and actions taken to strengthen security and the rule of law, as well as monitoring the implementation of the directives issued in the previous sessions."
The prime minister Haider al-Abadi said on Saturday (January 24, 2015), that the Iraqi army feel comfortable in Anbar, and among that this was not the case a year ago, confirmed that many of the fighters in the province fighting alongside Iraqi forces.
